About M. D. Graeber

Michael Darin Graeber is a retired NATO contractor, lifelong technologist, and storyteller.

For nearly two decades he lived in Sicily, Italy,
where he met his wife and began reflecting on the life he left behind in America — one marked by hardship, silence, and survival.

His debut memoir, A Tale of Three Tells, follows the intertwined lives of three siblings who endured the same house of abuse yet carried different versions of its truth.

Told through shifting perspectives, the work explores how trauma distorts memory — and how confronting it can restore meaning.

It is both an act of remembrance and redemption: a testament to endurance, and to the healing that comes only when we dare to look back.

“I write to reconcile the silence of the past
with the voice I finally found.”

Through his work, Graeber seeks to give form to pain and honor to truth — crafting stories that face darkness not to dwell in it, but to show that even fractured light can illuminate the way forward.
